Building a Diverse and Inclusive Team

Rooted in Indigenous Values

ANFCA is dedicated to building a team that reflects the diverse communities served by us and our member Friendship Centres. As an Indigenous organization, we prioritize recognizing and embracing the unique talents that propel our mission forward. We value the broadest range of experiences, genders, ethnicities, and perspectives as integral to our culture and commitment to inclusivity.

Each ANFCA employee contributes to service excellence by fostering a caring attitude and practicing positive, effective communication. Every team member upholds the principles outlined in the Friendship Centre Safe Space Declaration.

Our work is guided by the values and priorities outlined in our five-year Strategic Plan, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s 94 Calls to Action, and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).
